Your tax identity with FBR
The National Tax Number is how the Federal Board of Revenue recognises you as a registered taxpayer. It's issued through the Iris portal and is the first step before you can file a return or get on the Active Taxpayer List.
For salaried people it's a personal NTN; for a business or freelancer it's a business NTN that lets you invoice and bank properly.
Two ways to register
One flat Taxly fee, plus FBR registration at cost. Pick salaried or business below.
Salaried
You earn a salary and want to register, file and stay on the Active Taxpayer List.
Business / freelancer
You run a business or freelance and need a business NTN to invoice and bank.
FBR fees are charged at cost on top of Taxly's price. Figures shown are indicative.
