A business in your own name
There's no separate company and no SECP filing. You register a business NTN (National Tax Number) with the FBR, and from that point you can trade, invoice and bank as a business. It's the fastest, cheapest and most popular route for people working on their own.
Built for people working solo
Everything to register as a sole proprietor
One transparent Taxly service fee. The only extra is the FBR registration, which we pass through at cost โ no markup, no surprises.
Government fees vary and are charged at cost. Figures are indicative.
Registered in four steps
Want limited liability instead?
A sole proprietorship keeps things simple, but it doesn't separate you from the business. If you want your personal assets protected or plan to raise investment, a company registered with SECP may suit you better.
Registered? Don't forget your yearly return
Once you have a business NTN you file an income-tax return every year โ the deadline is usually 30 September. Filing keeps you on the Active Taxpayer List for lower withholding tax.
